The South Central Railway has thus become the first railway where ATVMs will be issuing General second class tickets, he said later talking to newspersons. Nineteen self-operated ATVMs will start functioning in Secunderabad, Begumpet and Hitech city stations from today. The fare can be paid through smart card, which initially costs Rs 80, including Rs 30 as refundable security deposit. It can be recharged in multiples of Rs 50, he said. Seventyfive ATVMs have been sanctioned so far for 21 MMTS stations. Through the SCR's SPCSS, the complaint or suggestion can be sent through SMS to the number 81212. Automated acknowledgement with unique ID will be given through SMS. The status of the complaint can be known any time by sending an SMS quoting the unique ID or from the SCR website. In Manipur, the Churachandpur and Tamenglong DRDAs will be getting Rs 5.33 lakh towards first installment of Central Shares of funds under the scheme. In Uttar Pradesh, the Balramour, Bareilly, Basti, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Kheri, Maunathbhanjan, Mirzapur, Padrauna, Rai Bareli and Sonbhadra DRDAs have been earmarked for Central Assistance amounting to Rs 23.14 crore as second installment of funds under the Central share for SGSY. Similarly, the 24 Parganas North, Burdwan and West Midnapore DRDAs in West Bengal are to receive grant-in-aid worth Rs 10.6 crore towards second installment of Central Shares of funds under the scheme. The funding pattern for the States of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal is 75: 25 between the Centre and State whereas in case of Manipur the funding is on the basis of 90:10 between the Centre and State. The objective of the Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) is to bring the assisted poor families (Swarozgaries) above the Poverty Line by ensuring appreciable sustained level of income over a period of time. MPRRDA is an autonomous Body for receiving funds under PMGSY and is a duly registered body under the Society Registration Act, towards the projects cleared by the ADB. The grant is towards plan expenditure and will accordingly be subject to the conditions laid down in the PMGSY guidelines issued from time to time, said a Rural Development Ministry statement today. The national GER as per data available for 2005-06 is 52.26 per cent. It is 83 per cent for Delhi as per the 2008-09 data.
